Some of the clinical diagnoses which have responded well to the ASTYM System include: lateral epicondylitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, patellar tendonitis, anterior knee pain, shin splints, chronic ankle sprains, and plantar fasciitis. Fitness Center Membership

Motionworks offers fitness memberships for individuals and families. Membership fees may be paid on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. No annual contract is required, but we do require that a health questionnaire be completed prior to joining. A physician’s consent may be required before beginning an exercise program. This will be determined based upon your age and medical history. If a physician’s consent is necessary, Motionworks will fax a request to your physician. Most of the time the physician’s consent can be obtained within a day or two.

Most of our fitness members have been previous physical therapy patients at Motionworks, but this is not required. Motionworks staff will instruct you in the proper use of the equipment and will also suggest guidelines for progression of your exercise program. Medical fitness services are also available at an additional cost.
